  Alright, so I've done a lot of business with this place lately. I am pretty happy this store is around, because it's the best there is to choose from in the area by far. Though, in all honesty wouldn't be my choice if I had choices. Pros: They are friendly / most of the time (though, I have a thick skin and sense of humor). Carry almost everything. Prices are better than most on the coast. Decent amount of knowledge (not that I care much about that) Quantities are usually high enough to actually complete your project. Cons: Like some have said, sometimes rude. Their lumber is mostly outside and I literally wouldn't build a chicken coup with the studs at times - at other times their supply has been fine. They aren't Home Depot. I'm sorry, but whether you're a contractor or DIY'r (I'm both), HD does it better than a lot of places. We can all sit around and complain about them, but they are now the standard in a lot of markets. So, we have two types of suppliers. HD types and contractor only types. Pro Build falls between and can't decide. They aren't a great option for the serious no BS contractor / builders. But, they aren't the best option for the DIY'r or cheap builder either. They are the only option near here and thankfully they are here or I'd be driving to Corvallis a LOT more!

  I was treated horrible. I went in to buy a simple part that should have been standard. I had the brand, model and all the information on toilet I was connecting to. I asked a simple question if the water connect was standard or if they came in different sizes by brand of toilet. They had three to choose from. Quoting the smart ass young brat "you should leave and come back when you know what you need, most people would measure prior to coming in here" REALLY... telling a customer to leave, not answering the question, so is this the same way they treat men or was it because I'm female.... I think any man would have knocked the brats teeth out.... NEVER AGAIN
